GOOD suggestion i used in another game

I got a suggestion!!


Well to keep everybody oin our guild we will have TAX RETURNS!!



When some one gains 10 Levels They get a ammout of money lets say 20k
next 10 levels they would get 40k next they would get 80k then it would double and double.
Tell me what you think

Hmmm, the only problem I see is that this money has to come from somewhere -- we'd have to set up a fund that we all pay into for this money to come out of, and I think having to pay into that would be a little off-putting to new members. I wouldn't mind paying into it, but I think it would make for hard recruiting -- "Join our guild, get money, but pay us first!"

well we could like make them pay a smaller price like The same exact thing but paying money like the smaller the level the smaller the ammount and th ebigger the higher ammount I could get all my lapis and put money into the bank.

That would be very difficult to manage, and it's still not much incentive, especially for lower levels where gold is unimportant and flows freely. Basically putting it, it'd be a whole lot of work for not a whole lot of return. People at higher levels have probably been in the guild for a while, and they have little reason to leave it, so we really wouldn't be "keeping their loyalty" so much. Lastly, this will be sooo easily exploitable, especially in this guild, since most of us makes two or three characters, and we could always make a third or fourth without telling anyone, just to get more money. And how would we find them out? We probably wouldn't. To put it bluntly Flash, it's not a great idea.

And this is assuming that everyone actually cooperates (and it'd work backwards if we start punishing people for not "donating"), and that the "money handlers" are completely trustworthy etc.

The incentive for joining the guild is our members itself. We're fun, and useful at the same time =D And as far as I know, we haven't had problems with members leaving yet.

It was a good thought though, Flash. Its good that you're thinking of ways to make the guild better, but yeah... I agree with wolf and everyone else...
